Kaitlin Persaud

My name is Kaitlin Persaud. I have managed to combine all of my passions to manifest Kreate Healing. I make soy wax candles, literally bringing light into people’s lives and I help others heal themselves via holistic practices.

I’ve always had – and still have this trust that everything that happens, happens for a reason. We may not know what the reason is at the moment but once we figure it out, we would understand why everything happened the way it did.

I went to school to become a Chemical Lab Technician. I work for an amazing metalworking company but at one point, I was craving something more. I had done a reading with an Intuitive Channeler in June of 2018 and she identified me as a ‘lightworker’; she said I had the ability to heal others.

At the time, I didn’t know much about spirituality or healing but it was always something I was intrigued by. In July of 2018, things started to click. I was Downtown Toronto with my mom and sister and there was an Artisan Market at Harbourfront Centre. I was inspired!

Later that summer I attended a candle making class and started hand pouring soy wax candles. I love the chemical and scientific aspect of candle making as well as the healing benefits soy wax candles provide. Kreate Candles was established in September of 2018.

Each Kreate Candle scent describes something about me. For example, I named The Wanderlust Collection after my love of traveling. The scents, Maui, Mo’Bay and Miami, are dedicated to special places that I’ve traveled to.

I decided to expand Kreate Candles into something bigger when I started my Reiki journey. The first Reiki session I had, the Reiki Practitioner told me that I could infused my candles with Reiki; providing even more healing benefits to my customers. The idea peaked my curiosity.

Kreate Candles became Kreate Healing in January 2020 when I became a Reiki Practitioner. I am still on my personal Reiki healing journey but so far Reiki has changed my outlook on life. I feel emotions I’ve never felt before, I’m finally allowing myself to grieve the loss of my dad who passed away almost 5 years ago. I’m becoming more understanding and accepting of certain aspects of my life. I’m discovering parts of me that I didn’t know existed and as a result I am more compassionate and caring. I am healing.

Reiki has helped me and I want to share my journey with others in hopes that I can help them heal themselves. I am constantly learning, growing and evolving and I genuinely feel that I can make a difference in the lives of people that are willing to embark on their own healing journeys.
